Launch of the Annals of African Education

2025-04-15

The Annals of African Education provides a critical platform for examining the intersections of education with culture, policy, equity, and development. The journal welcomes empirical research, theoretical analyses, and critical reviews that interrogate educational practices, systems, and reforms through African-centered and decolonial lenses.

We are proud to publish Volume 1, Number 1 (2025), featuring original contributions that address pressing issues such as curriculum transformation, inclusive pedagogies, education and technology, teacher development, and indigenous knowledge systems. This inaugural issue sets the tone for a journal that is intellectually rigorous, contextually grounded, and forward-looking.

We invite educators, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to engage with the journal and contribute to shaping a more just, inclusive, and transformative educational landscape in Africa.
